RECENT STRATEGIC IMPACT EXPERIENCES (2018 to Present)

These past 5+ years, it has been an honor to serve Nonprofits, Foundations, Policymakers, and other Stakeholders serving diverse communities, e.g., millennial to Gen Z youth, elderly, disabled, BIPOC, women, LGBTQIA+, immigrant, multi-faith, and more.  I have worked closely with senior leadership on strategic planning (usually 3-5 years) and initiatives deploying tens of millions of dollars.  Together, we have partnered with leaders and community members serving U.S. states ranging from California to Georgia and all of the world's continents except Antarctica.

Some of the services I have provided include:

  • Serving as de-facto chief of staff to multiple executives, acting as their proxy internally + externally

  • Strategizing across teams and projects ranging from capacity-building to learning communities to family mental health, veterans, education, workforce, and voter access

  • Cultivating funding partnerships with family, community, and corporate foundations, as well as federal, state, and local government entities (ranging up to 8 figures, over 5 years)

  • Leading program and prototype design, implementation, iteration, and growth strategies across leadership, programs, financial, communications, logistics, vendor, and partner teams

  • Shepherding grant and evaluation life cycle processes, including grant officer relationship-building, grant writing, impact tracking + analysis + reporting

  • Leveraging executive and board leaders’ assets, skills, and relationships to advance priorities and learning

  • Reviewing and negotiating grant agreements, governance, and other documents

  • Recruiting, onboarding, managing, mentoring, and coaching staff, interns, consultants, and volunteers

  • Systematizing processes so that organizations scale sustainably

  • Polishing traditional + social media communications + presentations, e.g., ghostwriting on behalf of executive leaders

  • Serving with emotional intelligence and cultural competence to build alignment + trust

  • Cultivating complementary relationships and thought partnerships with diverse fundraising, community, tech, political, Corporate Social Responsibility, pro bono, and other civic leaders at local, state, national, and international levels
